why wont my mac install roblox. i download the dmg file and i double click the install app and it works.
but when it says "configuring roblox" it fails and says "roblox could not be downloaded"
omg i need help! i need a mac user to help me please |

It might be possible that the built-in Mac firewall is blocking it, what options are selected in your security and privacy settings for app downloads and the firewall tab? |

for downloads, it is check for: mac app store and identified developers
for firewall: firewall is on. |

My mac won't install roblox! I click download, then double click, it says "rob lox successfully installed" i click it, open a game, and it says i never downloaded it. WHY!! |

I found a way, i have a chrome and the root of all the problems comes from this thing, all u gotta do is get other browsing app and then download roblox through it(like firefox,torch,etc).and BAM roblox is working.YAY!!! |

Don't forget to drag it to your applications folder. If it shows you downloaded it, but won't launch, try using a modern web browser like chrome. Or update your safari. |

same it configures roblox and says it was successfully installed but when I press play it just says "Roblox is updating. Please wait..." and it never loads. I can't even watch youtube because it is down:'( |

If your still having this problem, message me on roblox. i know all of the solutions to this problem, but when i posted them all, roblox banned it for no reason. Soooo, message me, ill fix it if anyone sitll has this problem, title is "Mac install issue" please so i know it's not a group invite. Ty for your time, and yes, i know every way roblox could not install or break on a mac lol. |

since you have to add someone to message, ill explain it in 0 detail. You'll have to look this up, and if no one understands, ill rewrite it in very simple terms. Goto your firewall, and unlock the lock to make changes. click firewall options, click the plus sign, search for roblox in the top right corner, click it, then click ok. after you do that and press ok, and if you go back to firewall options and roblox isn't listed there, you did it wrong, if it's there, then you did it right.

restart your computer than try downloading again.
if none of these work, reinstall roblox, then when you try to join game, look for box that says something about a roblox plugin. Click the check box for yes then click ok.
If these don't work, roblox is down, or your internet browser is preventing it, or a virus of sorts. Conact me otherwise bby my account if you can't seem to find a solution. Look online how to access these programs if you don't understand where they are or how to get to them |

I figured it out! Once you get the little window where it says just to click, drag it to your Applications folder in finder. It will work like a charm! |
