"Why you gotta hate" Because I have a right to say that the Colt ORIGINAL 1911 is an overused handgun because no one bothers to look up a cool, better quality handgun. It's like the same deal when one wants to use an assault rifle as a main weapon. You know what the answer is? AK-47 First off, the Soviet Union issued a firearms ban with the U.S, second off, because there were manufacturing issues with the ORIGINAL AK, Mikhail Kalashnikov made a modernized variant, the AKM, a better performing and more accurate rifle that was readily produced. After this, in 1974, the AK was remodernized as the AK-74. Not to mention the Soviet union (not just russia) made their own AKs, for example the AMD-65, or the CZ. 58 rifle.
