It's not going to happen because of a small problem with something called compatibility. Because of the way linux works, and because of simply how many different variants of just Ubuntu (let alone the rest of Linux) there are. The reason roblox exists for Mac (itself a Unix derivative) is because of its relatively low amount of hardware combinations with one single OS which is essentially the same each time it's installed. With Linux you're not going to have that.

Running ROBLOX on Linux would probably require a total redesign on the launcher and even then there may be technical issues. I think they may do it in the future though...

There are so many different distros that it's impossible to have full Linux compatibility.
