₪ Introduction:
This thread will explain each relevant rank in Ostade and will allow you to have a better understanding of what area of focus you will need to be training on before you will be considered to move through the ranks. Fulfilling the descriptions of these ranks does not entitle you to a promotion by any means.
▬ Initiate:
The lowest rank in the main Federation. This is the beginning of a new chapter in a Ostadian’s career. Initiates must complete the buy the uniform and attend an event before being considered an official Ostadian soldier.
▬ Novice:
A more advanced ground trooper. The Novice rank allows Ostadians to claim themselves as official soldiers and be able to post on the group wall.
▬ Adept:
Adepts are still considered new Ostandian soldiers. They should try their best to keep learning and constantly going to events.
▬ Guardsman:
At Guardsman, the soldiers have reached the end of their LR career. Up until now, they have been promoted by a Field Officer+ for doing well at a single event. Promotions will now be more difficult. The Field Officer+ that promotes the player to Guardsman must now add his name to the MR Database.
▬ Exempt:
Promotion to Exempt requires 3 RECOMMENDATIONS from Field Officers. During an event, if a Field Officer thinks that a Guardsman did well, the Field Officer must sign into the database and increase the number of recommendations by 1. When the Guardsman reaches 3 recommendations, any Field Officer+ is allowed to promote the player and reset the number of recommendations.
▬ Intermediate:
At this rank, the player has now reached their halfway point in TFF. Promotion to this rank requires 4 recommendations from Field Officers+ and 1 recommendation from an Exemplar+.
▬ Battle Captain:
Battle Captains now earn permissions to delete wall posts. They are allowed to co-host trainings and all types of events. In order to get promoted to this rank, 3 Exemplars must recommend the Intermediate to any Field Marshal+.
▬ Field Officer:
Field Officers are the first official High Rank. They are responsible for maintaining the activity of the group and hosting rallies, trainings, etc. Promotion to this rank is only done when 4 Exemplars+ and 1 Field Marshal+. When these 5 recommendations are collected, the High Command will vote on the promotion from Battle Captain to Field Officer. In order for this vote to pass, 60% of the High Command must be in approval.
▬ Exemplar:
Exemplars are the second most official High Rank. They are chosen by any Field Marshal+ to assist them in their departments. They are not required to host as many events as Field Officers but they should still host regularly. However, their main priority is to assist their Field Marshal in their specific department.
▬ Field Marshal:
Field Marshals are the first High Command rank. The only way to be promoted to this rank is by 75% approval by the High Command. In order to be put forward for a vote, you must be an Exemplar and your current Field Marshal must recommend you stating that he/she believes that you would be a good fit for the High Command or your current Field Marshal must retire and the High Command would vote deciding if you could take up the department. Of course, Field Marshals do not always lead departments and may just do their administrative duties.
▬ Fleet Admiral:
Fleet Admirals are the Senior High Command. They overrule all decisions below them. They oversee all departments and ensure that the group is functioning correctly. The Fleet Admirals ensure that all Field Marshals are doing their jobs. They function as the sole and final method of decision.
