Is Re-sizing Models Acceptable?

No, I do not mean free models, I mean models as in a group of bricks that you arranged. Is making a large somewhat detailed model and then shrinking it down to create a normal sized/highly detailed model acceptable? I have always seen plugins like model-Rezise as tool, not a cheat, however I have been told it shows poor building skill.

Yes Guns are made like that they are first made huge so adding detail is easy then you use scale script to make it normal size

Agreed with the other posts the end result is what matters, some could say it's a poor builder, I would suggest that's a smart builder.

It doesn't show mad building skills, it shows you're smart enough to use a decent plugin to assist your skills; in no way does it make you a worse builder. Plugins are made to help and better our builds.
