Player profiles should have comments at the bottom, and the player (who owns the account of course!) could toggle whether he wants people to comment on his profile or not. Blocked players cannot comment on the person's profile. Seems like a cool idea, do your magic ROBLOX!

@Theforumingforumer That's why there's an option, and you can block people and 'maybe' have an option of who comments

comments should be totally removed, or a 13+ thing. if you add comments, there shouldn't be a option to disable them because of scammers. the second one

"comments should be totally removed," Than spammers/scammers migrate to some other place (forums) and take over that. It's good to keep all the trash in the junk. "or a 13+ thing." That doesn't effect anything, the majority of people lie about their age. "if you add comments, there shouldn't be a option to disable them because of scammers." mk the second one

Support; This is vulnerable to abuse, scammers, and trollers though it would be an interesting feature to have. Profiles at the moment look very dull, this being added won't instantly make profiles attractive but an interactive website won't make ROBLOX any less attractive either. I say we could at least give it a try. From a small seed a mighty trunk may grow.

As long as there is a disable commentary option, because I don't want that spam all over my profile. Respect the science!

I don't see the need for this as nobody takes comments seriously. Comments are mainly posted for spam- or bullying-related purposes. No support

Here's an additional suggestion; Users will be able to remove certain comments left by users from their profiles if they don't like it. There is a need for profile comments and it could be used considerably. Even if it wasn't a necessity that doesn't mean that it couldn't be an impressive feature to have.

Then people would delete the negative comments to make themselves look better. Like I said before, there's no need for this feature. No support

Eh, this doesn't really seem like their's a good point in making it a thing.

gibbothebee Why would you want negative comments on your profile? It's not like you'd want to have an online argument on there. If you deleted your posts in an argument on the forums then that would be different. If you're anxious that you're going to lose an argument on someone's profile then don't post anything negative on anyone's profile, common sense. You shouldn't be harassing users on ROBLOX anyways, that'll result in a ban.

This feature would also require more moderation and money to pay the extra moderators. Plus, not everyone is as courteous as you. Many people use the comment system for spam and bullying. It doesn't matter what your ethics are, as they do not apply to everyone.

Gibbothebee. In the original post, it clearly states that "the player (who owns the account of course!) could toggle whether he wants people to comment on his profile or not." I'm assuming that you'd have to choose if you'd like profile commenting visible to the public, friends, or only yourself. You have a point with the spam and bullying, but let's look at it this way. Say you have a Facebook account, you're obviously allowed to comment on other user's profiles, but as the OP stated, you're allowed to toggle who you want the profile comments visible to. If you want, you don't have to have everyone commenting with spam on your profile. If you have a friend that does comment with spam on your profile, he's not much of a friend now is he? You have a solid reason why you wouldn't want to support, but my answer remains with a yes. It's not a necessity and it's not the most safest feature to have but it can be very useful for developers and gamers if carried out correctly.

I'm not trying to convince you that this is a bad idea. I'm just explaining why I don't like it. People usually think you have something to hide if comments are turned off for games. People would presumably think the same for profile comments. Plus, profile comments is another thing for moderators to moderate, which requires even more moderators. Roblox does not have enough moderators nor the money to pay them, so I don't think this feature would be favorable to the Roblox economy.
