i can't remember the last game i fully completed start to finish
if i complete a game then it must be really, really good. it's not that i have a short attention span, it's just that i spend all my time playing either wow or heroes of the storm right now.
only games i remember completing:
batman: arkham city (never thought i would enjoy the game as much as i did, but wow it blew my expectations for a licensed game)
bulletstorm
dark souls (my favorite single player game of all time)
e.y.e divine cybermancy (everyone should play this game, not because it's good, but because it's so weird. i completed the game because i wanted to see what else i can wtf to. i literally skipped a huge portion of the game by betraying my order and joining the enemies. the game gives you that option, i'm not kidding.)
gunpoint
half-life 1 & 2
limbo (short but creates such a great atmosphere)
mirror's edge
orcs must die! 2
portal 1 & 2 (portal 1 was a lot better)
red faction: guerrilla
saints row: the third
splinter cell: conviction
trine
uplink (no traditional ending other than losing, but i've seen everything the game has and become a millionaire)
vvvvvv (to be fair i can complete it in less than 40 minutes now)
for reference i have 418 games on steam, and this is all i have actually completed. some games (dead space, magicka, mark of the ninja, torchlight) i come close, but not completed. |
