Stuck on "Configuring Roblox"

At first it seemed like ROBLOX was taking FOREVER to update. Then, being the impatient person I can sometimes be, I clicked cancel and tried again when the green bar was half-way, hoping for it to update faster. Now it's stuck on "configuring Roblox", and there's no green bar. Does anyone else have this problem, and if so, do you know any known solutions?

Bumping after only 5 views and no posts? I don't care. Many people have this issue; maybe not exactly, but similar enough and at the same time. The more forums about this on the front page of the help forum, the better in my opinion.

I'm afraid I don't have a solution that I have found just yet. I also have this problem with my brand new computer. I've tried using ROBLOX on another browser and it won't work and I reset Mozilla Firefox. Even reinstalling ROBLOX didn't work. But I will plan to bring attention to this issue when I continue looking through the post. I've looked at the posts on the forums and it seems you're not the only person with this issue. I hope you'll understand my reply and hope for the best that ROBLOX will fix this once people pay attention to this issue.

i have the same problem and i am using windows 10 i just wanted to play with my friends and than its stuck on configuring roblox when i tried to install :( :( PLS HELP

Uninstall roblox and install roblox back. BTW I am using windows 8.1

If it already downloaded "Roblox studio", then log into roblox from there and play there until it updates. If Roblox studio isn't downloaded, then right click ''robloxplayerbeta'' and troubleshoot, or run as an administrator. Or try CTRL+ALT+DELETE and going to task manager, then end task if roblox is still ''on'' then try reupdating. None of those methods work forever though, if you're really desperate, like me. Then you might need to clear every %appdata% file for roblox.
