I like the Idea you're heading to, ROBLOX. Although, this is problematic. I do understand that GUI's that get disturbed by this is the Developers problem, it is their job to fix this, not your job.
I have seen in another post that this messes up Hints (That black strip on the top of your screen some games use). I do not know if this is true, but that should be fixed. The Idea I like is the movement of Backpack (FINALLY, Backpack isn't as annoying!), I also like the new area for Health bar (PlayerList) and how you can hide Playerlist and the ChatGUI. Those are what I think are good ideas.
Although, that transparent ribbon on the top screen could be adjusted, possibly click and it'll slide upwards out of screen with a tiny button to bring it back, along with your button on it. Even better, allow some edits in Studio for the locations of these. What do I mean by edits? I do not mean have the player change the image of them, remove all of them, edit it's code, and so on. I mean how it is shown and so on. Allow players to change where everything's located, or allow a button to hide it/slide away. It may be a good idea to give multiple choices to the Developer on how they'd like the HUD to be seen, this allows their GUI's to be where they want.
The old update made a good idea on VetexGames part. He (In his Fairy Tail game) has some of his screengui buttons to match how the ROBLOX menu button looks, along with his GUI buttons being in it's general location. Customizability will allow players to place their buttons in a manner that will look good with ROBLOX HUD and how they feel is the best looking way.
In ROBLOX, us players make the game, so we should be aloud more customization on the ROBLOX HUD so our game will be better looking! |
