Taxiarkhos: A Taxiarkhos is a Brigadier. A Brigadier is a experienced officer rank in Macedon and has shown that he is ready to take the next steps in leading.

Pentakosiarch: A Pentakosiarch is a Commandant rank. This rank can lead a Macedonian Phalanx in battle.

Chiliarch: A Chiliarch is a Colonel type of rank. This rank is a junior honor rank in the Macedonian Army.

Stratigos: Stratigos means General. A General is the highest most authority in Macedon.

Polemarkhos: A Polemarkhos is a Field Marshal type rank. The Marshal rank is decided upon the king in his absence. The King is usually the Field Marshal anyhow.
