Not a valid win32 application?

whenever i try to play a game it says error, not a valid win32 application. i've tried reinstalling, did nothing.

I got this error back in my good old days, 2012. At that time, joining games was temporarily disabled due to some strange bug. I never read further about it, but after the game joining was enabled once again, I wasn't getting that error anymore. I am sorry I can't help. I wish I could though.
