So... I just finished reading Pendragon: Reality Bug the second time, and I have to say, this series is just as good as when I first read it, which was back in 6th grade. Complex story and plot, good characters... all around good series. And Reality Bug is probably my favorite... because I'm a sucker for VR scenarios.

So, I'll tell you about the basic plot of the Reality Bug is, so you can understand my idea a little bit better.
The Alternate Universe of Veelox has achieved perfect harmony and world peace. Why? Because it's deserted. Most of it's population has shut themselves in a Virtual Reality program known as Lifelight, which allows people to live in a perfect world, controlled only by their imagination and desires.
My idea goes like this:
The year is 2032, and most of humanity has given themselves up to a VR program known as Reality Gate, which is run by the largest organization in the world, Infinity Corporation. Infinity Corporation has taken control of most of the world's business and governments, and now makes most of the laws.
For some reason, Infinity Corp has started to create harsher and harsher laws for the people who are not using the Reality Gate. These laws make it harder and harder to survive in the real world. The real world's population is getting less and less each day. It would seem that Infinity Corp is trying to produce something...
And it's true, they are. They are attempting to generate one of the most powerful and dangerous forms of matter ever created: Reality Particles. Particles that can bend time and space, reconstruct objects, and break the universal barriers themselves.
It's time for an insurrection. One that will save the entire world from falling into endless dusk. It's time to strike back.
This isn't the full plot... I've yet to write that, yet.
Also, I'm going to come out and say this right now: I won't take crap from anybody anymore. I'm not trying to be grumpy, but if you insult me, or my interests, I won't let it slide.
But luckily, most people here have the human decency and common sense not to question others interests, it's only the few who do not who need to worry about it.

Ok, correction: If you insult me BECAUSE of one of my interests, I won't let it slide. Meaning that if you insult me for liking SAO, and call me an idiot, it will get you a proverbial slap in the face and a fierce scolding from me. |

The premise was good though
To make it to blatantly similar to SAO, and you might have something interesting.

Last time I tried that... with any RP idea...

And the only reason I said, "no comments from you, rock" was because I knew that he'd probably show up and start annoying me about it being related to SAO, or something like that. |

It's strange, the last time I offered a VR RP, it was entirely different from SAO. It was more like Accel World, even though I did avoid getting it too closely related to anything. He still said it was like SAO. |
