Let's all take a moment and think, through the recent turn of events and uprisings -- there we stood; the people. I am a regular, everyday citizen like you, one who is willing to step up to make a change. A change in which our citizens, our departments, and the people who are amongst myself, who want to step up from the depths of the city streets and have a voice. A voice so powerful, a voice that has the greatest impact on our government. One voice of many, in one nation; to improve upon our cities, our rights, and our hardworking departments. Our candle is yet to be lit, it's time we ignite the flame, in order to create a better Rockport. Through all our conflicts and problems as a State, we stood in triumph to our solutions, because without we, the citizens, we have no voice. It's time we stand up.
Our state, the great State of Rockport is a powerhouse; a factory. A factory of hardworking people who want to enlighten our community and improve upon our mistakes. This state needs everyone to work to complete our goals, and set new ones. Without one key concept; we could fall apart. There we have it, the Office of the Lieutenant Governor. This positions can only be taken on by someone with experience and knowledge of the position. Someone who is ready to make a change, and take a big role in congress. I believe I am this person. I am not running for myself, I am running to restore Rockport, and return the power to the people; in our greatest democracy. This is not about which party you are in support of, or your plans to help Rockport, it's about what you are going to do amongst many to stand up and make a change, and help our mighty state stand under one flag united as one!
I have been Senator for 3 and a half terms, under the Legislative Branch, one of our most powerful branches. We make laws to improve this State and we implement the peoples ideas into our legislation. The presiding officer of the Senate is to take on this role with great responsibility. I am willing to finish off this term as Lieutenant Governor, to reach goals never before reached by our Senate. Our Senate makes approvals for our Department Heads, and Bills. In the chamber of the Senate we will strive to represent you; the people of Rockport! The people who started this all, the people who have ideas yet to be heard. As a current Senator, I know we haven't received the proper attention we need to make this a great State. If I succeed in obtaining office, I will ensure weekly Senate sessions, and to fill the gaps of those Senators who left; by you, the citizens.
I have a large agenda to finish off this term, starting with Senator Elections and Senate Sessions! I want people like you to run for Senate, let your ideas be heard in Congress to have a greater implementation on our Government. You will be heard loud and clear, I once again promise weekly sessions for the Senate; and each Senator will not be forced to listen to implemented pieces of Legislation, but their own legislation to be presented! The same legislation created by the people, and brought to the Senate by our great citizens. End this inactivity in Congress and bring us representation, representation for the people! We must all work together to reach our goals and complete our tasks, to ensure a strong state, to save Rockport.
So, what are you waiting for? Are you ready to take action? Are you ready to stand up and be represented more than ever? Let's all work together, to create a stable state amongst the people, a powerhouse to succeed with many accomplishments. Because in the end, we are all great citizens of the astonishing State of Rockport...
Let's make this change.
