I'm pretty sure no one uses the word "straight" negatively. How often do you see someone say "Get out of here you straight boy". If you hear people using "straight" as an insult, something's wrong.

and i get where your coming at with why people cant say those words but can say other stuff. but i think it will do more harm then good. most kids dont want to being called that and we're in a place where trolls and other people will make fun of everyone they meet. it don't matter how mature you know you are. others will are bound to abuse it. |

Filtering the words 'g a y' and 'l e s b i a n' won't make a difference moral-wise as people always typically bypass the filter. I'm asking for the it to be unfiltered for e g a y s and l e s b i a n s that can defend themselves with will.

i suggest maybe give us more reasons to see why it shouldn't be filtered. rather then us argue why it shouldn't. that and its not hard to get around to say with word with an @ or spaces. so most reasons for why it shouldn't be said is invalid because people are already saying it |

They can easily say, "Hah, you're _____" and keep insulting people in other ways. It would be used as a common word and no one would probably banned.

It is filtered for the same reason su/ck is filtered. (atleast ingames)
Stop asking for it to be uncensored. It is censored for a reason. Not every wants to know of you LGBT people. Especially some cultures and religons.
