just because your club was the first in a league, it doesn't mean you're suddenly the best fanbase in history. sheffield fc was the first ever association football club, and their fans watch them in level 8 of the english division. their fans don't act so high and mighty. in australia, the oldest australian rules club, melbourne (one of the oldest sporting institutions in the world), is being talked about with a merger with another club or folding altogether. their fans don't use history as an excuse for them being craphouse.

well in that case, you're referring to melbourne city, another marketing tool brought to you buy manchester city. the melbourne football club is an australian rules club founded in 1858 and is one of the oldest sporting clubs in the world. they're also probably one of the biggest jokes in sport around the world.
