In accordance to Part II, Article 1, Section I of the [IR] Republic of India Constitution:

1. Executive Branch
a. President | The head of the Executive Branch and military shall be the President of India. The President has the power to place Executive Orders, as long as approved by the Judicial Branch of India. The President may choose a Vice President to carry out the jobs of the President in the vacancy of the President. The President must sign, or veto bills passed by the State Council. A veto can be overruled by the State Council using a 66% majority vote. The President gets “Owner Admin” at Indian cities. The President may appoint Cabinet members to advise the President, as well as an Attorney General, Chief Justice, and department directors, with consent of the Minister associated with that particular agency (Refer to Part II, 1. Executive Branch, d. Ministry). All appointments must be approved by the State Council. The President will be either elected or appointed by the Founder. The President may have two, six-month terms. The President is not above the law, and can be brought to court by the State Council by a “no-confidence motion”. These may be modified in the future.

ANYONE WHO WISHES TO CAMPAIGN / PARTICIPATE IN THE ELECTIONS IS AGREEING TO THESE TERMS BY DOING SO. Please familiarize yourself with the rules:
1) You must currently be a citizen of [IR] Republic of India
2) You have been in India for at least 1 month.*
3a) You must have a partner (Vice President candidate) to run with you / mentioned in speeches with their consent.
3b) Your partner follows and agrees to all of the rules listed here.
4) You must not have or be considered a criminal or terrorist of the Republic.
5) You will not bribe, cheat, hack, blackmail, or alt vote during the elections.
6) You agree to a limit of 10 “advertising posts” on the main India wall PER DAY.**
7) You are active at least 4-5 days a week on a regular basis.
8) You agree to respect other candidates running and not to hack, blackmail, or sabotage your opponent.
9) You understand that breaking any of these rules will result in your disqualification from the elections.***
*Exceptions can be made. Please message DrSwegman123 or the VP+ should you feel this way and a vote will be held by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
**This rule may change. You are responsible for keeping track of any rules changes.
***All cases will be reviewed by the Ministry of Home Affairs.

NOTE! CAMPAIGNING DOES NOT BEGIN UNTIL 5/11/15 AT 1:00 AM EST. Early Campaigning is not allowed and could get you disqualified. The Ministry of Home Affairs will be working closely with the current administration as well as the Founder. This is to ensure a safe and fair election.
