This could be abused. Locking your own threads makes it publicly invisible. If you happened to post inappropriate topics, and locked it, the moderators might bypass it when searching through their locked threads. I don't see a point anyways: if there are topics that break the rules on your forum anyways, the moderators should lock the thread, or moderate the players breaking the rules.
Let the moderators do their jobs; they don't want you doing theirs. |

That just means the thread vanishes into the depths. It's annoying, but not annoying enough to not implement this.
