Edward reached into a bag and pulled out a few morsels of food. Dinner.
"I can't imagine this is how the lower people lived before all of this," he said, gnawing on a cooked rabbit. |

Lilith's stomach grumbled, causing her to wake up.
"Food? C-Can I have some?" I asked, unsure whether he'd actually give me some. I was always told not to beg, but I was starved. |

Alexandria took a cooked morsel and put it on top of a plate that was also saved, handing it to Lilith, then continuing to eat her share.
"Alright, so, the men make their own places to sleep outside, and the women sleep inside the tent.
Agreed?"

"Thank you, miss," Lilith said politely and ate hers gratefully. |

"I'll sleep outside with the men" Brianna's voice was heard. "I'll also take watch first." I said, pushing away my share of food. "I can go a day without food. Maybe two, but I know, we must try to keep it as long as we can. After we eat all of the food that was in the kit, Men, and women who are willing, must go hunt. Anyone else agree..?" |

"I have no doubts of your abilities, Ms Brianna, but I don't think I want a food-starved person taking watch over me," I gestured at her food.
|
|

"Besides, there's a reason the men will sleep outside,
the men have a bulkier build and can more-so withstand the cold than us women can, so we shall stay in the tent and ration the two blankets between ourselves.
The men, however, should build their own shelters next to the tent, and you may build them whatever way you wish them to be built."

Lilith
"I can sleep in between people, since I'm small," I offered. "I don't need quite as much blanket." |
|
|
(c-can i just poof a character next to you guys or is it too late to join) |
|
|
She nods at Lilith.
"Well, it's about time for bed anyway."
She begins digging a hole, and then throws her gun in it.
"Everyone, put your guns in this hole. There's a little flap outside the tent, so if we're attacked in the night, we'll reach out, undig the hole, and grab our guns."

Brianna put her gun into the hole. Then she glanced at Edward. "Then I won't eat nor take watch." She murmured. |
|
|
When all of the guns are in the hole, she covers it up, and then she goes into the tent, puts a blanket over her, and s leeps.

yeah you could just poof a character in)
Edward wasn't quite sure why everybody else was putting their only protection in the ground, but he wasn't going to do it.
"Alright," he said to the group of tents.
"I'll be out here, no worries," he reached into the group-pack, and pulled out some fabric.
"I can tie knots," He murmered to himself. He took the fabric and ties two ends around two close trees, creating a shoddy hammock. He would undue it in the morning.

Brianna walked into the tent, not bothering to have any part of a blanket. She laid on her side, do there could be more room for others. |
|
|
"Brianna, you're going to die of pneumonia and starvation, Jesus girl!
Take a blanket!" She throws one to Brianna.
"You need to eat, too. You need your strength for survival. While the men go out a nd hunt, we'll be building walls, gates, turret fixtures.. And farms, too, we'll be rebuilding civilization."

"I believe thinking a little too far ahead, ma'm," he said, not looking away from tightening the fabric to make his shelter.
"The first step is to not die from automatons, the last step is founding a new town. And inbetween those two steps is a big," he paused, emphazising the last word, "gap, where we have no idea what to do,"
He cautiously tested the strength of his new bed. |

(bluh sorry for the rushed introduction/post but i need to gtg for sleep rn
goodnight :0)
Maria kept her gun with her, under her rather dirty, ruined, and "flat", with a lack of fluff and frills, yellow dress, embroidered with green and pink flowers everywhere. Earlier, the dress would have dragged on the ground, but had now torn to just below her knees. Her white, leather and expensive boots were long gone, and were no longer on her legs, neither were her gloves and bonnet. Her flat blonde hair was literally in frizzes, no longer the silky shine it was before. Her pale skin was just as pale, however, and so was her dull green eyes. Earlier in a better time, she was far chubbier than this, however, her waist and cheeks thinned out by the stress and starvation the events have brought her.
She muttered something under her breath, though it couldn't be heard by anyone else but her. There was no way she'd be putting any gun of hers in that hole, where she couldn't easily reach it immediately, where other people in the group could take it. It was hers, and hers only for protection. It didn't have much bullets in it, and it was actually pretty rusted and worn down, but it was still hers. She's been losing a lot of things of hers lately, she had to make sure she wouldn't lose all of them.
"Maybe later," she sighed, going into the tent and going to bed. Maria was awake for too long, it was time for her to rest.
