I am getting a new laptop, and planning to build a city. Would this computer handle Studio well? Brand: Lenovo Type: Edge 15' Processor: Intel Core i5 4th Generation RAM: 6GB Hard Drive: 1TB I just want something that can run smoothly while in studio and can help me create something nice without lag.

What is your Graphics Card? As that is basically the most important Spec of the PC System.

Thats Integrated Graphics. But i quickly searched your Laptop and awkwardly enough you have the same Graphics Card as me, the Nvidia Geforce 840m 2GB. You shouldn't have any problems with studio involving lag :)
