@Newbie I know, what does it do the the community? Makes everyone look like poor people. |

"Get either BC or just play without Groups."
well u need to understand where is the money gone after buying BC, if u don't even enquire about that, that's is the problem. |

All of you are ignoring the reason they put price floors in:
Before price floors, the system was biased towards buyers. Players would put shirts up for 2 robux and 5 tix. This wasn't just because they wanted to sell clothes, but it was because they had no choice. If they tried to go higher, anyone could just copy their clothing and sell it for a lower price.
However, the market never rose with inflation, meaning that clothing makers were suddenly stuck making near-zero profits on their items. However, any attempt to raise would cut their profits entirely because of the obvious price gap. Why would you buy clothing when you can get a cheaper alternative?
The price floors were put in to balance this out. Now, clothing creators can actually make money from their work. It is a very good thing.
And if you don't agree with this, then you are just a whiny NBCer who does not care about others. |

"its millions

in fact, less than millions. why? approximated numbers of all active users and did not count those deactivated players. you could find a major server which allows to hold more than 1024 players (based on 128Mb/players in random access memories) for just ~1100 bucks - almost 1 buck per players! isn't that is even cheaper than they say? |
|
|
1 buck per month, including discounts, based on some facts. |
|
|
@small it is because they wanted to make clothes they were not greedy. anyways the market fee was much lower back then so they can make a profit since many people bought their clothes. and legitimate clothes creators stopped making clothes because of the price floor since people could not afford it.
imagine this.
there is 2 sodas that are the same ,but different prices
one soda is 1 robux and the other one is 10 robux
which one would you rather buy?
and then they made a profit out of it since so many people bought their clothes. also you are saying that if they raised the price people would start copying it. well ROBLOX RAISED THE MINIMUM PRICE!!! you are saying that copying is less common since the price floor was added IT BECAME MORE COMMON!
when i created pants i have only gotten 2 sold because many people cannot afford it.
so do some research. |
|
|
price floors was a horrible idea but then you shouldn't complain when you know that they are not going to remove it. its basically meaningless. |
|
|
@cpmoderator
it is not millions and millions of servers, it is millions but not that many.
after all i do know servers do cost money and can be expensive ,but not that expensive.
and about that you look nothing like phoenix wright aside from the shirt and pants you have and the skin and the face.
phoenix wright's hair isn't shaggy and having that 2.0 body makes you look mostly like an oder |

@Super ik ,but it is fun to rant and debate |

And roblox doesn't copy items, UNLIKE you greedy nbcers, which is why they removed nbc shirt creators and added the price floor.

Another reason why the price floor exists:
Trade Currency.
If you remember before the price floor was implemented, the rate rose up to 30-40 tix per 1 robux. In order to get people spending tickets to decrease this inflation, the price floor was created. Now the rate is at 14:1 (close to the old rate of 10:1).
So if you want the price floor gone, enjoy the slow rise of the TC again. |
|

@cpmoderator ok the NBC'ers could not sell clothes update it stopped a lot of legitimate NBC Shirt creators and it once again they limit NBC Rights. anyways roblox is starting to make roblox less fun being nbc, i get it roblox wants more people to buy more bc ,but there are some people who don't want bc and that makes thousands of players to quit. anyways the price floor would've not been not big of a deal if the price limit would've been lower for example 20 tix 2 robux or 10 tix and 3 robux.
after all cp you are the one being ignorant.
@Zephyrical that could've been easily fixed if the number of tix given each day lowered. |

- Newbie123Pg
From a developers point of view, the price floor is a gold mine. If you had the patience and talent to create clothing, you wouldn't be complaining anymore; instead, you'd be rolling around in all the extra TIX and ROBUX you can earn, instead of having to sell your clothing at 10 T/1 R and making little-to-no profit like before the price floor update.
And NBC'ers were never supposed to be able to create clothing, that was just a mistake in the system. Give up on it.
|
|
|
@Obdormio but for new developers it is h*ll. it is so hard to get noticed unlike back then. even ads dont help them. also aren't you an nbc. and you have never been a clothes dev so how do you know? |

It's common sense.. Would you rather have the ability to earn more TIX, or have to earn a measly 7 TIX per sale?
Just because I'm a NBC does not make me completely stupid. |

@rym
we need to clarify that 5 bucks are affordable but we knew why roblox needs us. you are still believing that roblox needs a major amount of money to work. look outside and you will see there are dedicated server for less than 2 bucks per month, the amount holds a place w/ 50 players (estimated). |
|
|
Well, the price floors are there because many clothing developers couldn't get much profits from their clothing.I made a couple hundred tix of clothing in a few days, but then it stopped selling. You may say, 'Oh that's because of the price floors' but it's not! And 100 tix isn't that much anyway. That's 10 days for a new shirt, and I think the starter clothes look good! Anyway, my point is, the price floors were a great addition, you just don't see how good they really are!
When life gives you lemons, you take those lemons and burn your neighbour's house down! |
|
|
you can only own 3 additional shirts as maximum in a month! neither buyers (most of the NBC) nor sellers gets advantages. |
