By this I mean, imagine I have a brick. Let's say I want to put spots on the brick but I don't want to put a decal because it'd be difficult. So I'd paint the spots on the brick. simple idea but it might be hard to code. Check out my CUSTOM TERRAIN TEXTURE suggestion on S&L: http://www.roblox.com/Forum/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=162206883

It may be hard, but it's possible. C++ can do anything. I've seen this done on Rabbids Go Home, and it's really really cool.

You can do this somewhat with Solid Modelling by creating a minuscule difference in height with different colors. It would be nice if it didn't need to be done via Solid Modelling, however, as that can misshape your build. Essentially, I am saying I support this, but I am also saying it's also possible to have multiple colors on a single part at the moment. ~ Go straight to jail, Do NOT pass go, Do NOT collect $200. ~

Solid modeling is nice and all but if I want to create smooth/abstract/organic shapes it is a pain in the but to do it all and on top of that, the error messages screw it over. Check out my CUSTOM TERRAIN TEXTURE suggestion on S&L: http://www.roblox.com/Forum/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=162206883
