So, basically, the way this idea works: A user who reports rule-breaking content that WAS rule-breaking gets a point, visible on their profile. A user who reports content that WASN'T rule-breaking loses 2 points, again visible on their profile. Users with >12 points should possibly get a badge and a hat in reward for their amazing work keeping ROBLOX clean. (police cap, maybe?) If a user has under -8 points, an investigation should be launched to make sure that the user isn't just reporting because they want to report stuff. To prevent some forms of abuse, this system should be clearly explained - perhaps when a user first joins, or when they first press the Report Abuse button.

No support. Honestly this is only going to promote a very unhealthy community where people report others to simply earn this hat and badge rather than actually working to remove bad content. It'd create not only a community of mini mods, but a community of greedy mini mods.

@rom "A user who reports rule-breaking content that WAS rule-breaking gets a point, visible on their profile. A user who reports content that WASN'T rule-breaking loses 2 points, again visible on their profile." Stops people from reporting just anything. You actually have to report content that ISN'T inappropriate, otherwise you lose 2 points. It's significantly easier to lose points than to gain them. Also, "if a user has under -8 points, an investigation should be launched to make sure that the user isn't just reporting because they want to report stuff." Riggy my siggy.
