Here's the solution to all your questions, and support this.
~ Yes, people are asking "What if someone buys it and can not wear it", well roblox will figure that out. That's basically all we know from here. We can not predict what roblox will change within this update. Here's my guess, so someone buys it? No, they shouldn't even be able to buy it until they reach the rank. And if they get exiled from the group, then they shouldn't be able to even wear it. Because people uniform raid in warclans, etc. People might copy the shirt, but it'd be a bit more complex.
~ The owner of the shirt, will have the option to make it limited or free for all. If it's limited, then you shouldn't be able to have it anyways it's their clothing, and it's your responsibility to manage your robux. Maybe you should wear it after you've been exiled but still, it is their clothing, whether you like it or not.

We've let ROBLOX "figure that out" plenty of times, and things have only broken.

This is one of the stupid things in it.
If I see a cool piece of clothing that I can afford, or a cool piece of clothing that I bought an expensive hat for, then it tells me that I can't buy it, I'll be quite annoyed.

This is another blatantly STUPID point.
I have a lot of clothes that were from groups. Would I just be told I can't wear them, then? This is absolutely ridiculous.
If someone buys something, they're entitled to use the thing they bought.

How is this related? You can still bloody do this. If people don't want to wear their uniform in a raid, that won't change by making those clothes group-only.
The better option would be to offer group punishment for those who raid out of uniform. It only takes from 100 or so people, instead of the rest of ROBLOX like what you're suggesting does.

This would encourage copying shirts, and people will try to find new ways to do it more efficiently. If there's a shirt that some people can get, but not others even if they can afford it, people are going to be annoyed at this and find ways to take it and leak it. Trust me, some people will actually resort to some form of hacking.

How is responsibility to manage money related? If that's so, if I want to spend my money on something that's up for sale, it should be my responsibility to do so. Why are you stopping that?
Oh, and it's the clothing maker's clothing? If clothing makers don't want people to buy their clothes, don't put it up for sale in the first bloody place.

And if it's up for sale and I wish to buy it for the set price, I am entitled to do so. I don't want to go through 10 ranks in a group which are most likely even more limited just to be able to buy a piece of clothing.

I keep saying this over and over again, only the creators of the uniforms would have the choice to make it unavailable or not, so if you like cool clothing COOL!, not everyone's just going to make it unavailable for you, they want to sell their clothing too. I'm just saying for groups and such, sometimes if you want something, you will have to achieve it.

@rowan can't copy it it would appear too small as the image. Templates aren't the same size as that.

It's possible to resize things. There are also ways to upscale the image so it was identical to how it was before.

You're making a big deal out of this. Seriously, it's just a shirt. And plus, the person who OWNS it has the right to forbid you from it if they want you to. It's a shame that you get scammed, but roblox gave you the rules and you need to go by them. So if you get scammed it's not necessarily their fault. This isn't exactly for every piece of clothing, it's just a group feature.

If a shirt is in the catalog, that means anyone who can afford it has the right to buy it.

I hope you do understand how *ABUSED* this will be.
Big clothing groups that make mass-amounts of clothing will abuse this as a way to advertise.
They'll make it so you can't buy any of their clothes without joining their group, as a way to advertise their group.
Almost every big clothing company will do this, because they just want to be the biggest group.
What'll this leave us with, then? Amateur-styled clothing that might soon be turned in to a group?
Really, this would massacre the catalog.

You're the only one arguing with this suggestion. There's over like 20 supports, and 2 no supports. You don't understand, roblox can't do anything about hacking, AND ITS JUST A SHIRT. Can't you just find another piece of clothing that is relevant to you? Why do you need someone else's clothing to feel happy? Is there some big concern about wearing a detailed shirt? There's many more out there, it's just an option the owner of the group, can decide whether they want you to wear it OR NOT. |
