Unfortunately donny is the only one here with an extended knowledge of baseball that I know of... |
I have extended knowledge of baseball. I watch every mets game and play baseball, as well as other nationally televised games. I also watch games on MLB.TV |
Ah, I as well! I watch every single Sox game possible, and AS MUCH baseball as possible when the Sox aren't on. So, anything you want to discuss? |
yes jacob degrom's performance today |
I mean there really isn't much to say it was excellent. I didn't see it because I was watching other games, but giving up 1 hit and 0 runs through 8 is amazing. 11 strikeouts as well. |

23 straight retired cardinals hitters. that means he retired everone but the first batter |

BroBro who are your top 7 AL playoff contenders and why? |

While I am probably not on the level of yond or nin I consider my self knowledgeable on the sport of baseball.

ok danny, who are your top 7 al contenders? |
I should note that I watch most if not all Twins games and have played baseball for 8 years now.

1. Kansas City
2. Detroit
3. Houston
4. NY Yankees
5. Tampa Bay
6. Minnesota
7. LA Angels |
Houston (I think they are the real deal for now)
Kansas City
New York Yankees
Detroit
Minnesota
Tampa Bay
and then lower but since you asked for 7 Sox
It will be interesting to see teams that are below .500 right now like the White and Red Sox Baltimore and the Angels to see if they can overtake one of the top 6 teams right now.

1. Astros
2. Angels
3. Royals
4. Tigers
5. Yankees
6. Red Sox
7. Mariners |

No Twins eh? And what about the M's?
welp |
I have the Mariners at 7
I don't think Minnesota has the experience to get it done |

i am writing it as i speak.
and im going into detail, not just listing them 1-7. |
I should note the starting pitching for the Twins has been good and that is without Ervin Santana.
welp |
The red Sox have had pitching struggle, but ever since signing the new pitching coach their team ERA is 3.70 and that's including the bullpen. The starters have been excellent since May 9. |

I really don't believe in the Astros... They have faced the A's three times already, and the Rangers twice. Not to mention they will struggle against good pitching in pitcher friendly parks since they are completely filled with streaky power hitters. |
I agree the Stros won't go far in the Playoffs... But that division is so weak I'm struggling to see them missing the playoffs |

Angels are staring to look like themselves again with Richards back and Weaver pitching better.
Mariners are too talented to be under .500, WAY too talented. |

baseball is boring and non-physical, this is my opinion.
