I'm going to type this thread rather quickly so I might miss out on a few key details. It's been a pain having to join an entire new server of a game that I've just been to because I incidentally "lost connection" or if I exited out of the window by mistake. Especially after meeting tons of new friends and increasing stats that I won't get in a new server. I can simply follow someone that was in the game with me, but what if I don't see anyone's name or everyone has following to friends-only? I won't be able to go to the server anymore and everything I earned will be permanently lost. What I wan't to propose is the implementation of a feature that would appear on your game page. If you have been to a game recently as in, it was the last game you played then under Game Instances there'd be what would resemble a panel labeled "Last Server" that you'll be able to join. If filled, you'll have to wait like you would when normally joining the game and if you haven't been to the game before then it wouldn't appear. A feature like this could possibly be abused but it'll be so minor that it'll be unnoticeable and it's scriptable to prevent any abuse in your game. This feature will be a blessing in disguise and I'm sure the majority of uses will find this useful. If tl;dr and you haven't read the entire thread then don't critically insult the thread. State your reasoning if you don't support, and you guys are free to add your own relevant additional suggestions to this thread. Support ;)

Typically when a game loses connection, unless it's the result of a bad Internet connection on your end, the entire server will also lose connection. So even if this were implemented, most of the time it wouldn't help much.

It's not typical, it happens occasionally. The majority of the time when losing connection it's caused by an issue with my router, modem. Mainly because I'd manually unplug my router. What would typically happen for everyone's game to shutdown is if the game updates or if the creator shuts it down himself whereas instead of saying "connection lost" you'd see a message saying "the game has shutdown". Anyways, this has no affect on any other arguments in my original post and I see no reason why this shouldn't be implemented.

Suck it up. -Join a new server and start over. Or just give up and play another game -Join your new "friends" server again. -Losing connection means that roblox has a new update or the game creator made an update. And exiting the window by mistake means your clumsy -I don't want my page to be spammed with a bunch of servers that I left for a reason, cause if I did leave by mistake then obviously one of my friends is inside and I can easily re-join them -If your playing games that don't auto-save then your playing bad games This update would be futile

Monsterkrush Read the entire thread again please. Pikachu -If your stats were or is incredibly high, you're not going to want to join the game again and earn it back. I'm sure someone like yourself wouldn't. You shouldn't have to give up and join another game if that's the game you want to play. -Did you not read my thread? If you don't have anyone's name in memory or you weren't able to see their names, there's no way you can possibly join their server again. -Or, Network connection problems. -Your page won't be spammed by servers you visited. Only your LAST SERVER will be listed as I said numerous times. -I'd love to have this happen to you one day. It's not all typically bad games. Games, especially town and city games or role-plays will most likely have no need to add an auto-save. But if you lose connection, everything you've done in that server is lost. Imagine yourself spending hours of Mad Murderer, and you're rank is at 100 then you lose connection and you have to start over from 0. It's not fun. The update wouldn't be futile at ALL and even if it's futile to you doesn't mean it'd be futile to everyone else. Even if it's not necessary, it would help a lot of users. The catalog, forums, parties, messages, and profiles aren't necessary. They're futile, but why were they implemented? Because it's a great feature and that's what the users want. Stop with the excuses, this would make an incredible feature whether it's necessary or not.

First of all if the game is so good you play for hours to get the level 100 then it's obviously good enough and worth it to start over Second of all if you don't remember the persons name, then obviously they have no interest of being your friend if they didn't even make an attempt to stay in touch with you Having a list of servers recently played would not save your stats anyway!

Well in most games if you leave the game you lose your stats, yes. Unfortunately even if you manage to rejoin that exact same server, your stats will still be lost, just like in tycoons and battle games, like gear fights, your ko's and wo's will be back at 0. It's not the end of the world having to start over.

Monsterkrush I was using examples, I'm aware of this. It is frustrating having to start the whole thing over, when everything you've done on the game is in that one server. As I said before, this especially happens in town and city rp type games. You can start over, but how much of us would actually want to is the question? It would help greatly if this feature was implemented, It doesn't have to be done, but it would be helpful if it was. Pikachu First of all, I'd love for you reach the middle of GTA V when your console turns off. I'm sure you wouldn't just turn it back on and start all over again asap. You are aware of how frustrating this would be. Second, Do you remember everyone's name in a server that you've played in? I would remember quick abbreviations of their names but 12 characters with integers is a bit much and I'm obviously not going to try to remember that and I'm almost positive that you wouldn't either. Also, developers have hidden or custom leaderboards in-game making it almost impossible to view everyone's names. From a small seed a mighty trunk may grow.

5 - 0 ROBLOXPopDiva My sentiments exactly. I hate that users tend to read just a few lines of the thread and reply with detailed responses completely irrelevant to your thread or involving something you've already covered. From a small seed a mighty trunk may grow.
