Hello, I just purchased the laser finger pointers on ROBLOX since it was onsale. I was actually VERY excited because it is a pretty fun gear. However, when I join a game that allows this specific gear. I have the gear equipped but it's not showing up in my hand. Then it magically goes away from my inventory and does not work.
Help.....?

Hai, I have just purchased the golden super fly boombox on ROBLOX for $500 robux and when I go and play a game it is not in my inventory whatsoever, that is quite expensive so I would kinda like for it to work,seriously I paid $10 in real life to get that money.

Same Here. But I got the Black Boombox. When i Join a game it Won't show up in my backpack or invertory. Was 350 Robux. I Spent all that Money for Nothing?! |

Just spent $500 robux on a boombox and spent ages trying to figure out why it doesn't show up or work in games, only to eventually find this thread which seems to be saying that only very few games allow you to actually use gear that you already bought from the catalog. Why does Roblox not make this clear when you are handing over your $500 robux? Will they be selling chocolate teapots next? Ironically the boombox in a game I wanted to use it in only costs $299 robux. Feeling absolutely ripped off! |

gears only work in places that have them enabled.

The developer of a game has to whitelist what gear they would like in their game, if any. And not whitelist each gear specifically. But they decide which gear genres they wouldn't mind having in their games.
In most games, people decide not to allow any gear, but there are a few that do.
But yeah, to clear up any confusion. Wearing a gear doesn't equip it in-game. It will just show it on your avatar. No matter if you are wearing a gear or not, if the genre of the gear is permitted in the game, it should appear in your hotbar.

when i play a game where i can use a boombox, i enter the ID and nothing plays (and no, im not meaning it takes a little bit, it doesnt play anything) |
