first person bug?

In a few games such as Realm Jumpers and Plague, I walk backwards in first person and it seems to force me either to the left or right while doing so. Whether it's a scripting error or not, it appears to exist. Help?

I have also seen a minor, but major effect in third person, as well. Before the recent update, you could drag your mouse to the side of the screen to rotate view and it would rotate, but now it doesn't. I need a solution for this ASAP because I play a lot of shooting games and third person is used a lot.
