Kids don't acknowledge what's pointed out to them before time. Users can be sent lines of code and will be asked to paste it into their javascript console. You and me both know that could be used negatively and is being used negatively. The fact that the message is right there, giving users an obvious view of the message is helpful. I might forget a message that I saw years ago on registration but I won't forget what's directly in front of me. Users that code in Javascript know what they're doing but users that aren't familiar at all don't and they should be warned before it's too late. |
