Wow, people don't know ANYTHING. Rememberance day became official in 1919, after the end of WWI on November 11th, 1918. It was used to dedicate of all the soldiers lost in the war.
As the years, and wars, passed by, they added in WWII and the other wars in our thoughts.
Now SHADDUP and stop complaining.

Jude how do I not know what Veterans day is when I wrote an essay about Veterans day and what it means to me for the american legion and it was the in the top 5 best and is being judged as we speak on whether it was the best. |

We're slowly 'loosing' the freedom, although most people aren't realizing it. And are actually up FOR loosing freedom, in order to gain some 'safety' which they could much better get with a revolution from the Eilte Government. |

Veteran's Day is a holiday that:
1. Makes me feel special and important.
2. I get to see my family without the hassle of buying gifts.
3. It is a day off from work. |
