People don't need 6 jobs anyway. How can you FOCUS on 6 jobs. Instead you work half as hard, or put half the attention into it. Maybe we should look at making a limit on jobs? Anyway I support this! |

Some of us have worked our butts off getting into agencies like FBI, BoP, and Marshalls. Then you make this crazy idea where they can apply for a job and get in automatically? This is literally the craziest idea I have ever heard of. Your just thinking about the lazy people, not the people who work their butts off for their agencies. |

I have a lot of experience, yet Its hard to find a job. USMS BoD DIA agent twice, OMB, ect.
Yet I find those noobs that know the DD or D in RL and get invited in and people like me who have lost there job (Or people that are new looking for one) and trying to get a new one are left out in the cold because we dont know anyone thats high up
This looks like it might help people ...
But 67 jobs isnt alot when you have a 120k member group

I'm all for a massive member count in the BoP (I love it), but I have so few now because I had to fire a ton for inactivity. Yes, several of those I fired were employed in 2 agencies or less (including BoP). I intended on naturally growing my numbers back to around 75, but this forcing of it all isn't the best way to do it.
I mainly have a lot of worries with the acceptance process. Say I'm unemployed and hate the USMS. I'm going to send you an awesome application and tell you I want to be in the USMS. Then with this new opportunity, I'll abuse.
Honestly it's the fact I have no control over who gets in (I can't personally background check them) that concerns me. I could by some miraculous feat gain all amazing members, but seeing how that has a low chance of happening, I am concerned. I don't distrust your judgment on people, but you and I both you it is very hard to judge a person by just a typed up application.
Finally, if they want a job, why wouldn't they just go through our academies? I am working hard at hiring awesome trainers (got 9 trainers plus like a head trainer and academy director). FORCING upon me 20 something members makes the academy pointless.
In fact, I have no use for the academy then since I'll be full of members (I mean hey what's there to do). However, I'm required to hVe an academy. Now you've got me in a weird spot. You force members at me, making the academy useless since you don't want them taking a route where they can actually PROVE THEMSELVES (BoP Academy is set up to test everything from prison duties to basic knowledge). However, I'm required to have an academy?! What in the world?
I get where you're coming from trying to create jobs, and that's perfectly fine. I think forcing your hand as you are is not the wisest step, and I am always willing to have a thoughtful discussion with you about this. I didn't just reform my academy from the bottom up to be really good for nothing, after all.
I would love to talk to you about this via Skype if you are interested. I have many concerns about this plan, and I would be grateful to discuss them with you.

"Worked your butts of"?? really? Back in the day you just had too do some obbies then gun fight or something stupid that had nothing to do with your job.
Now its go to an academy or tryout that makes you do gun fighting and sword fighting and some 15 minute trivia.
