Not part of presidency but
Defeated British in New Orleans

Johnson had the potential to be a good president but he became president during a horrible time.

also, please note that Andrew Johnson was never supposed to be president, nobody expected him to end up in office, and everybody actively looked for a way to get him kicked out of office before he even said a single word as president
