It seems that a user that goes by the name of scol131 has been stealing accounts, including my little brother's account, babybudgie. I want to get it back but I'm not sure how since I don't know how to go about it as it has not happened to us before. If there is anyone that is able to help, then I would happily accept it. Thanks.

Did he verify his email, if he did not then he cant get his account back.

Hello, You should report the user that you suspect of hacking by clicking the red report abuse button on their profile, then if the account that was stolen was linked to a valid verified email, email [email protected] for help. Thank you both for your worthwhile replies. As for your question, I did a bit of delving to figure out if my little brother had verified his email address for the account, thus I think I am able to massage [email protected] about the issue. As for what you said, TheSupremePatriot, I thank you, however I have a feeling that Roblox is lacking when it comes to reports with the suspected reason being because of so many false reports made by childish/immature users (don't think I'm being spiteful, I've witnessed a lot of complaining players in my years of gaming). I will reply again in the future if this problem has been rectified/fixed. Thanks again, supersonic601

Hello CrimsonComet007, Yes, It actually would make a difference, the thing to do to make sure that your reports would be taken seriously is to have your friends report the player/game/model/etc. as well as you, That was proving its an official threat or it really has to be taken down.

Your brother probably got scammed, I don't know anyone really "hacking" accounts, or he migh put in his info on some fake ROBLOX gui. Your brother has to be careful nex time. Also, he can only get it back if his email was verified, otherwise the account is bye bye. You normally get 8 hours to get the account back via email, if I am not mistaken. Eat it for me

@supersonic To see if he has verified his account or not look in his hat sections, If it shows the verified hat then he has and try your/his mom or dads email.

you cant hack a account you either gave your info went to a link got tricked something and yeah so i mean it is not really robloxs fault as much i mean half of roblox and half of your brothers for giving his info.. but overall tell roblox..

@Supersonic If you had or someone else did report him, he has gotten banned or terminated, if you have reported him then it worked.

Glad to hear he was banned. If you had a verifyed email on that account you could have sent an appeal to roblox and they would respond.

@6yoshi123 I looked through babybudgie's hats and saw that he has the "Verified, Bonafied, Plaidified"(this was on the 22/06). I looked again and just noticed that the hat is now gone. Either something has happened and Roblox is trying to fix the problem, or the person who stole the account has deleted the hat to try to cover up the incident. It also seems the account (scol131) has been taken down until the issue has been rectified, however now I'm worried that there are more than one accounts that are being tagged as "alts" of the same user, as TheSupremePatriot has pointed out. I just hope that everyone who's accounts were stolen can get them back. @kritiki, Cirv and aaronremmers14 I know for a fact that my younger brother would never supply his account infomration to anyone other than family. Besides, the computer he uses to play on Roblox is right next to where I usually sit and I can see what he is doing. He has never needed to imput his information into anything other than the Roblox login screen and he is not gulliable as to fall for scams. There may have been a comprimise in Roblox security for all I know, so I'm not sure what the problem would be otherwise. @TheSupremePatriot I am so happy for your help. Though I expect that the account (and any accounts linked to the user) is under investigation by the Roblox team. However, I am slightly glad that something is happening about the issue.
