Today we will be voting for the format we want to use this year. The options are...
A.) 3 separate tiers with each tier representing a different level of skill.
Tier 1-advanced, tier 2-average, tier 3 beginner. This includes a tiering round at the beginning of the season to make sure the tiers are as even as possible. With separate playoffs at end of season for each tier.
B.) 1 Giant international elimination knockout tournament. With the championships held at the very end of the season. The more you win the longer your season becomes. No ranked matches, and we might keep track of your fictional geographical location.
C.) Qualifying tournaments held throughout the season. Where anybody can register for any tournament and as many as they want. Teams who join these tournaments get ranked depending on how well they do. The top ranked teams go to the championships held at the end of the year.
D.) 1 giant league where all teams no matter the skill level all play against each other. This league comes with a pre season to get all teams prepared for a very interesting, anything can happen at any time league where many blowouts will happen, and lots of upsets of sorts. At the end of the season there will be playoffs.
E.) Other. If you pick this option please post below your very own custom season format you would like to see happen next BMHL season. If we like your idea it will be added to the poll to vote for. |

A
The reason why im choosing A is because this will bring back the same format as the old BMHL, which was very successful. With Tier 1 you can put the elite players play against each other, while anybody can join, but will be a benchwarmer. Tier 2 will be available for anyone. I think Tier 2 will be most interesting because that will be a mix of good players and newcomers. And Tier 3 should have popular owners, but will concede of mostly below average players. I also think that a player can play in tier 1 2 and 3 at once. |

(E)Mine is similar to the NHL.
We Have all the teams with 26 rounds the 8 teams with the highest wins on the board move on to the playoffs. Then those 8 teams are seperated. Then when one team wins they move on and the other team is eliminated and do this for the rest of the tournament untill the finals and then its a best of 7 finals. Once the finals are over and a team has won then they are the champions of BMHL.
Feel free to change this anyway you like.

(A) Tiers
If the BMHL can get enough players for the Tiers format it would be amazing. It has been very successful in the past because you separate skill levels to make it more evenly matched play. But with saying that you should be allowed to be on only one team in all 3 Tiers because even if you are not good you could join a team. I think that the best format for the BMHL is to remain 3 Tiers. |

No disrespect to the HHCL but BMHL started years before the HHCL existed. Also I'll pass on that idea. |

F : We have a set a position tournament as the pre season. each team gets 3-5 matchups and however they do by matchup places them in the better tier. for the positioning the top teams on a leaderboard (out of ALL the divisions/teams combined) advances to the division (depending how many enter divided by 3 to make the teams amount fair) then the season starts (but with a twist) every 2-3 weeks the BOTTOM 1-2 teams of each tier by the stats of points gets d aemoted a division while the top 2 advances (untill u get to tier 1) after every team gets moved around the stats of teams for the demotion/promotion restarts and they play another amount of games and does it again. At the end of the season the 3 tiers do their own playoffs. the teams that make the finals (top 2 teams) will go to the BMHL GLOBAL CHAMPIONSHIP and the teams will battle it out for the entire BMHL |
