ROBLOX really needs to start considering ideas like this right now. Just recently I believe they've started to completely REMOVE comment sections from non-user created items (AKA: hats, gear, faces, etc.), INSTEAD of fixing this problem properly.
Seriously, just look at the Catalog. I'm not the only one who can't view comment sections on 90% of all items, right?
Removing comment sections isn't a very good idea. It may prevent a good portion of spam/ scams/ etc. (while not all), but comment sections are an important part of the Catalog. It allows the community to discuss ideas/ topics about the items, and sometimes post important criticisms such as:
"This hat isn't centered right!"
or
"This hat's texture is broken!"
or
"This item isn't worth R$XX, it doesn't do this right!"
etc.

If we REALLY want Roblox to listen to us, we're going to have to do more than just spam "Support". We need to think this through, make decisions, spread the word, and directly tell ROBLOX what we want them to do.
So first off . . . we need ideas. "Playing before commenting" is a good start, but we need more than that. What about rating comments? What about replying to comments? What about sorting comments by specific post dates? or by specific users?
How can WE fix the comment sections of ROBLOX? Post it.

At first you had a good point, and then it seems like you just wanted to support other, off topic ideas. Playing before commenting is the focus of this suggestion. I guess "spamming" support isn't the most effective thing, but that's the most useful thing short of just making a thousand threads about this. |

Well sorry if I got off-topic from the original topic of the thread a bit, but it's just I've seen a lot of S&I threads with good ideas get ignored and forgotten over the past.
The only times I've seen things even have a chance of getting changed, is when people take the time to have huge discussions about big topics and then when the majority reaches an agreement on every single detail of the issue, they notify Roblox directly.
Just spamming simple sentences and small bits of ideas almost never work unless it's supported by an extremely large amount of people. I think if we take the time to do this seriously, Roblox might listen to us.
We could discuss it here, or move over to a different thread if you guys feel this would be off-topic here. It doesn't really matter as long as we move forward.
Still, I give a large part of the credit to the person who started this thread and all the supporters and people who have contributed ideas here. We've already taken the hardest step by just starting.
So if you guys agree with me, then let's get our ideas out there. "Play before commenting" is a really good idea, but we still need better.
If not, then well I'll probably stop tracking this thread eventually I guess. I still support this thread, but I don't agree with its way of getting things done.
Either way, just remember. If we want Roblox to really listen to us, we're going to have to do more than just spam threads.
