Tom looked unhappy, he hated being told to do things, but he was ready for what lay ahead, death and violence. He walked away slowly, he wanted it to end quickly. But this was going to be a long 3 years for him.

Simone let out a cry of surprise as a response to being shoved. Though, she didn't fall, merely stumbled forward. "Well, it's not like I wanted to be here," she murmured, "My parents forced me to go here, I was forced because we were poor and I wasn't able to get a job before the age of 19."

Tom went his own way, he didn't want to interfere with groups of friends. He wanted to be alone, he was more strategic when no one interrupted. He entered the labyrinth of trees. "Hmm." He thought to himself, "Nice place." He had his iron fists on and his dagger in a easy to reach pouch in his overcoat. He was not afraid to have to murder anyone. He thought to himself, "Maybe I need a group of people, just for support, they all seemed nice enough, I jusy hope they don't think I'm weird." Just then the branches on a tree directly above him shook violently, it was just a bird.

While offering Raylen a handshake, he heard the sound of tree branches and the flap of wings. He turned around to see what caused the noise. Right then, he saw another first year. 'Eh, that's an awkward looking fellow.' he thought. But hey, the more the merrier. He looked at the restless group of first years and asked, "Do any of you people know why are we standing out here in the blazing hot sun?" His eyes darted from side to side, trying to find where the Commander is. "From what I've heard, there is supposed to be some combat practice." |

Tom seen the group and swiftly made his way behind a tree trunk, he heard the boy talking. Tom made his way out if the cover, his iron fists on his knuckles, just in case of any mishaps. He made his way out of the cover, he walked fast, his muscles showing, he wanted the group to think he wasn't afraid. He approached the boy, "Hi, the name's Tom." |

Raylen turns and smiles kindly at the boy, "well its nice to meet you Tom. I am Raylen." |

"I'll let you decide." He replied as he lifted his left hand up, it had one of Raylen possesions that were in her pocket. |

Then Raylen suddenly drops down into a crouch a sweeps Tom's feet out from under him.
Then flips overhead and retrives her possession. |

"Woah" he grunts as he hits the ground, "Ok, that hurt" he chuckled, "I take it your an assassin?" He said as he propped himself up. |

"Oh, Tom's your name? Pleased to meet you." he greeted the newcomer as best as he could. "I'm Timothy. But I prefer Mudds." |

"Hi Timo- I mean Mudds, so what are you and your group doing?" ask Tom curios to know if he could trust them. |

"Why yes I am. And be careful with whose belongings you take.even though it was wooden it is still just as sharp and deadly as a real one." Raylen says holding out her hand to help him up. |

He scratched his head and pulled a face. "Well, we're currently waiting for the Commander. I'm sure he said something 'bout a 'Combat Training'. But so far, he hasn't showed his face yet." he said while looking around for the Commander. |

Tom thanks Raylen for the assistance. "So, do you think the Commander would be waiting for US?" Directing the question at both Mudds and Raylen. |

"Really?! Can't wait!" Raylen says whipping around to face Timothy.Her green eyes full of excitement.And a smile plays across her face. |

He looked at Raylen while thinking of an answer. "I think WE are supposed to be waiting for him." he put his arms on his hips. "Or maybe this is a test? A test of patience?" Timothy suggested. |

" Wait did he say anything.anything at all before he left,Tom isn't the only new person here."Raylen says,her brain working quickly about this predicament. |

"Maybe, anyways, I seen another group go over towards the lake, probably for the water, one had a green sword, I'd love to get my hands on it, I might go over and get it. Well 'get it'. Tom said excitedly. |

He crumpled his forehead as he tried to remember the Commander's recent words to himself. "Erm... The last thing he said to me was 'YOU ARE A LIABILITY! YOU CAN'T JUST COME IN THIS CAMP LATE AT YOUR OWN WILL'. Actually there is more but I wouldn't take the risk of making my own ears bleed." he joked. |
