I had most of my childhood in the 2000s, and came into the world in the early-mid '90s. |

I'm 12, but my childhood wasn't old-school Nick shows, I liked Dora, Barbie, Teletubbies, The Wiggles, and Angelina Ballerina. But I started watching Rugrats on YouTube when I was 11 and a half. |

"schools are now making learning harder too, they are teaching kids my grade stuff for HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS"
That's not this generations fault, that's the fault of the American education system. I almost guarantee you kids in China are learning things even harder than you are... |

>also, codename kids next door sucked, what is wrong with you

@OP
The problem isn't with this generation. It's with SOME of the people in it. There are definitely a few hooked on tech – but not everyone. And there are some good shows in this generation. (personal opinion: just avoid the new Disney shows and you'll be good to go.)
As for the education, I find it to be sufficient. And even if it weren't – I'd rather have SOME knowledge then have none at all. As for style, there are plenty of trends, that don't just revolve around clothing garments. I mean, SURE I've never followed ANY of them due to my hipster-ism, but you might enjoy them. There's the Harlem Shake (2013), and the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge (2014), and so many more.
Have some positivity. And I honestly prefer thinking of the future other than the present.

If I believed in Hell, I imagine it would have a special circle called "2Cool for Mainstream Torture Methods" be filled with people like you. In it the song Watch Me would be playing on loop, and you're forced to wear American Eagle and uggs while being injected with drugs that paralyze you but still make you susceptible to pain. Satan would then perform surgery on you. He'd attempt to give you the brain you clearly lack. |

Yes, unless you have a problem with that. Too bad... I don't care.
>get out loser
I could say the same to you, but I'd rather not stress my fingers on typing such thing to YOU in particular. |

@lobstery
So what if I haven't followed through with them? Big whoop. So I don't often listen or do anything mainstream. Get over it. I'm a HIPSTER. But I'm allowed to do whatever the heck I want and hear whatever. So basically, I get to do anything even if I'm a hipster. And no, I'm not always hateful of mainstream. I just don't 'do' mainstream. |

Highly doubt it. M83? Like Monroe? I bet you haven't got word of either till now (though it's more than likely you haven't gotten word about Like Monroe, so...) and so what if I like SOME and NOT ALL popular stuff? It's not a big deal. Like I said, I may be hipster but I can still listen to popular stuff. And hey, I'm surrounded with people who listen to popular groups/artists, so chill a little before you undermine my hipster-ism.
Ha. I said I'm Hipster. Try all you want, but nothing you say will register because it's nonsense. |

"Flyleaf, Within Temptation, Evanescence, M83, The Knocks, Daft Punk, Three Days Grace, Like Monroe,"
wow look at that
I was right
you aren't a hipster
but you do have terrible taste
daft punk is the only good thing on that list |

>Like Monroe?

@Dr
Interesting. Didn't know your hatred of me was actually fuel to go dig stuff up.
What's funny is that, you only started undermining me on my hipster-ism NOW when I had been a hipster since around last year or so.
I suggest giving up because it's very obvious that I'm going to stick to my words. I am a HIPSTER. I listen to what I want, do what I want, EVEN if it's SOMETIMES something popular. So quit trying to make me agree to everything YOU say because it's not necessary for me to do so.
And what's the bother to you IF I happen to be wrong? Are you like some sort of hipster-defender now? Oh well, it doesn't matter.
I am a hipster, DEAL,WITH.IT. BYE. |
