60 FPS is not choppy at all. |

Walkspeed is framertate based, a lot of speed hackers change their framerate to higher numbers to get higher walkspeeds without changing the property of their humanoid |

Have you tried it yourself? Did you experiment on a slower computer and a fast computer to see who can make it from point A to point B first? If not, then you probably don't know what I'm talking about. |

Um...? You experimented?! |

Did you, really? |

I'm being trolled. |

My old PC ran Roblox at a frame rate of 45. My new Mac is running Roblox at a frame rate of 60. I just simulated a tiny "race" between two characters to see which one finished first. I kept both in a straight line and held down the same arrow key at the same times. Both finished at the same time despite the variation of their respective PCs' frame rates.
Walkspeed does not depend on frame rate. |

Which place did you do it in? |

In Tradelands the lag makes my boat move 1 km/h while it should me like idk, 10 m/s. |
|

It does not matter which place I did it in, but I did it on my empty baseplate place. |

Ok.
Maybe I got it mistaken with another problem...but I do know that it usually (according to me) happens under a lower framerate.
|
|
|
Also, hackers cannot higher their frame rate without overclocking and damaging their processors. |
|

They could increase their framerate without overclocking by modifying the framerate value in memory.
Even if you can overclock the framerate should stay the same on higher clock rate. That trick only works on older games from 1980 to early 1990s. |

Basically this whole suggestion contains inaccuracies. |

Ok, then why in detailed places like...

...and this..
http://www.roblox.com/games/4458424/ROBLOX-Titanic
...have some people walking at different speeds?
It may not be a framerate problem...but a physics problem (with a side effect of low framerate)? |

But it's not an internet problem for sure! |

it's inconsistency of server and client not frame rate
but speed hacking is something else, i remember reading about it in the roblox wiki, it's done by changing the "speed" of the client not the frame rate. |
|
|
i don't lag but it makes sense how this problem is client sided and server sided and framerate dependant
especially considering when hackers up their framerate their speeds go up |
|
|
if the problemn was entirely client sided filtering enabled would work because the hacker's speed wouldn't replicate to other clients through the server in that case |

okay have any of you losers ever played on an emulator
usually there's an option to speed up the game
it's the same thing as speed hacking for roblox. |
