flame rips open a portal to a park, 7 years ago as flame walks in to see his younger self, as he was teased, some kids throw rocks at the young flame |

[it looks like a portrait. Kat is standing with he father, mother and little sister.] {everything was fine when my dad was there. he kept my mom in check, you know? but then...} ["mommy? where's daddy?" Kat asked, wiping the sleep from her eyes. "honey, daddy's gone." her mother said to her her.
"where?" she asked, scared. "he's dead, honey."] {after he died, my mom was horrible. she worked me and Kitty hard and beat us when we didn't do as we were told.} [Kat's mom walks up to Kitty. "wake up, kitten. mommy sees that you are not working." she unsheathed her claws, ready to slash Kitty's face. "no!" Kat jumped in front of Kitty, her mother slashing her back instead of killing her sister.] {she.. she wasn't my mom anymore. she had become a monster. I finally realized the only way to be safe was to run away.} ["Kat, what are you doing?" Kitty asked, looking at her sister. "running away. come one, before mom hears us." she whispered back.]

the woman dodges the attack, but it hits something behind her. "would you like to guess who you just hit?" she asked grinning.
a look of shock and terror came over Kat's face as she realized what had happened. it took all her self-control not to yell out to her sister. |
