Buddhism is the same as abrahamic religions in the fact that it preaches the world is an obstacle to be overcome. Buddhism is a selfish philosophy.

@md because it disregards the world after you're dead. Sure, you may care about helping your kids, but does it really matter since you're going to heaven and you'll never see the earth again? Whereas in pagan religions it's important to better the world because you will be born again further down your ancestral line.
