So I'm still struggling to make this game a reality, as it mostly seems no scripters are interested in helping me out. I have plenty of builders, but I need at least two scripters with moderate knowledge.
The reason being is the massive crafting list and crafting items, and of course, the "Random Factor Loot Piles" I've decided to include, instead of having to buy everything or trade for it, where there are items in the game that spawn in generally random areas (i.e., for example, a house would normally spawn cloth, electronics, rubble [has random item], stuff like that), and when you click the item, you have a chance to get certain items. For example, you click on a cell phone (its an item that is a RFLP) you have the chance to get the list of items: scrap metal, plastic, glass, platinum scrap, gold scrap, copper scrap, circuit board. The chance to get platinum scrap in a cell phone is much lower than getting scrap metal or glass. I might include an XP system, but that would make it a real game, I am still debating it.
As far as the actual crafting system goes, there's going to be over 30 total crafting items, and at least 200+ combinations for various things, including weapons, armor, bags, medical supplies, food, equipment, even upgrades of those very items. The crafting system is meant to be something similar to Qwerty's survival game Alpha, where you select the items in your inventory and an item would show up on the other side. I might even add a materials list next to the item, assuming you don't have all the necessary items for it.
The point of the crafting items is to bring the "game" into the RP apoc. Its meant to feel like one. RP games nowadays are taken so seriously with rules and regulations (some for good reasons, mostly to keep the community safe, then they turn into trolls) tht you can't even role play properly without someone screaming KICK PLAYER KICK PLAYER OMG NOT WEARING THE RIGHT CLOTHING OR HAT OR FACE OR MIS-TYPED A WORD...
In conclusion, I'd like to have some more people interested in developing the game with me. That would be wonderful!
