My idea/suggestion for ROBLOX are User-made Hats/Faces.
This idea is so you can make your own hat/face (you would need to pay 50 or 100 robux to make one though). Like for example, there is a downloadable hat editor (similar to that of Roblox Studio) where you start off at either a block or a sphere (you can choose which to start off as). And there are tools so that you can form it into any hat. Also you will be given either a paint tool or a texture template depending on the shape (you can pick that, just like before), and then you can save and upload the hat just like the Badge/Model uploader merged together. You get to set it at any price you want. Total copies of rare hats like Domino Crown or the Dominus hats are not allowed.
Now for the Face editor, you can draw your own face on a template that shows where your face would go onto. And then you would upload and pay for that just like the previous editor.
For the mods, there can be regular moderators for user-made catalog items (called User-made Hat/Face Mods). You could add bots instead as well but that would be harder for it to be accepted throughout pending.
So here are the items that are not allowed for user-made faces/hats:
*Copyrighted imagery/content
*Inappropriate content
*Total copies of actual ROBLOX hats (with the same shape and texture)
You can add more things to this ability as well if you think it's incomplete or bad. If it's not that good, you can change it a bit so that it makes more sense. I have a feeling that this won't be added to ROBLOX, but whatever. ROBLOX admins, please reply/tell me if this is a good idea and if you would add it. :) |

i like but i think that it should an do cost something like 1k for a face an 3k for a hat otherwise you would see everyone with them |

So many things wrong with this idea;
- ROBLOX is pulling in less R$ if this is allowed. People can make ANYTHING they want for just 50-100R$? Then what would be the point of buying costlier hats when you can just make your own you like better? ROBLOX would probably lose enough profit to plunge them into the danger zone.
- Players can make WHATEVER they want? They could copy hats (100R$ Dominus :D, they could make inappropriate hats, they can make hats that infringe copyrights all over the webspace--the destruction is endless. Plus ROBLOX wouldn't want to moderate/remove these hats as then people would argue for refunds and maybe even take them to court (This could be kind of solved with a Disclaimer saying you're doing this at your own risk, but would that really do much??)
Not that I don't like the thought of it, but it would be irresponsibly stupid to support this. |

I say this every time there's an ignorant poster:
If users were able to make hats and/or faces, there would be more things to moderate in addition to the things that need to be moderated today. This would require more moderators to fulfill the demand in a timely manner. More moderators would mean more money to pay those moderators. That means Roblox would lose money because it's a pretty small company still in its infancy.
Think of all sides before posting a suggestion.
The same goes for bot moderation. Bots would be ineffective if developed quickly. A thoroughly-developed moderation bot would cost lots of money that Roblox doesn't have. Also, bots are not 100% accurate. Humans are not 100% accurate either, but they are far more accurate than bots. Image identification technology still hasn't advanced to a moderation degree.
If you want user-made hats and/or faces, you're looking at pricier R$ and BC memberships.

Also, there are so many Roblox hats that moderators won't be able to keep track of which is original and which is not. Same goes for copyright infringements. |

Whoever says that it's a bad idea cause of copyright infringements, I said that there can be bots or moderators who can handle it.
I didn't make this suggestion so that people can make whatever they want, I made it so that there's more things that people can make. Not just WHATEVER they want. >:/ |

1) IT allows people TO COPY PRE EXISTING FACES AND SELL THEM OR USE THEM FOR FREE. THIS HURTS SALES. YOU CAN STILL MAKE NEAR COPIES AND SAY THAT THEY ARENT THE SAME AS THE ORIGINAL, ITS STILL INFRINGEMENT.
2) People would run around with horrible hats.
3) you could literally make any hat you wanted, making the catalog hats useless and obsolete. again, hurting sales.
4) its the same for faces and hats. copies are easy to make.
5) Roblox isn't going to add this feature sO SHUT THE HELL UP ASSFACE.

It's not my fault I don't know what bad things would happen. Besides I didn't even see anyone else begging for hats and faces, but I, for one know that that's not what I am doing. Also it's not an excuse to call me an assface -_- |

Just paint the textures in. I did that once. Of course nobody else can see the face, only you. Just remove the regular face texture and paint something stupid. |
