In Finland's current state, the group is just completely unfair. Turkey is the only beatable team.

Absolute crap. Two losses to Hungary, a loss to the fluke known as Northern Ireland, and our only win was against the Faroes, who beat Greece twice. Greece is a team we DREW. The only bright spot of the whole campaign has been the fact that Paatelainen was FINALLY fired after the second loss to Hungary.

"Turkey is the only beatable team." this is bs if they get their act together they'll destroy you. "a loss to the fluke known as Northern Ireland" they aren't a fluke kyle lafferty alone is better than all of finland.

"this is bs if they get their act together they'll destroy you." Finland has been beating Turkey for years now when both of them had their act together. Both are teams which are on a catastrophic decline, but Turkey's is probably going through a worse one right now. Especially considering that Finland is the one out of these two that is actually showing signs of improvement (Paatelainen sacked + the breakthrough of Vahid Hambo). "they aren't a fluke kyle lafferty alone is better than all of finland." Roman Eremenko (Russian Premier League MVP) and Niklas Moisander would like to object.

"Roman Eremenko (Russian Premier League MVP) and Niklas Moisander would like to object." they can object all they want kyle lafferty is still better than all of finland he's carried palermo, rangers and his own country for years now while eremenko and moisander have been playing in ass leagues for ass teams (besides ajax).

"except why are turkey usually in the euro's and wc and finland have never qualified for either?" Keep in mind that Turkey has not qualified for anything since 2008, and won't be qualifying for Euro 2016 either. That's going to be 4 tournaments gone since their last qualification. "turkey aren't going through a decline. guys like tore, ulcan, enes unal, ozyakup and calhanoglu are going to be the spine of turkey for the next 10 years if everything goes right. tore and calhanoglu alone will destroy teams." 1) Calhanoglu is the only one of these who has proven himself to be actually good. Wait a few years to judge for Unal, he's a kid. 2) That's 4 players. I can name an entire starting XI of promising players that Finland has in the same age group. "turkey is showing signs of improvement it's hard to gauge if you're improving when you're beating the devastating might of, faroe islands" You're forgetting that my signs of improvement that I mentioned are very recent. Quite a while after that match. "they can object all they want kyle lafferty is still better than all of finland he's carried palermo, rangers and his own country for years now while eremenko and moisander have been playing in ass leagues for ass teams (besides ajax)." >palermo >rangers >a tiny country that has nobody else who is even close to good Good for him. Now realize that CSKA Moscow and Ajax are loads better than any of those three teams, and then realize that Eremenko is the best player of one and Moisander was the captain of another before his recent transfer to Sampdoria, who like Ajax could be challenging for a spot in the Champions League.

"Keep in mind that Turkey has not qualified for anything since 2008, and won't be qualifying for Euro 2016 either. That's going to be 4 tournaments gone since their last qualification." yep they've still got international pedigree compared to finland. "1) Calhanoglu is the only one of these who has proven himself to be actually good. Wait a few years to judge for Unal, he's a kid. 2) That's 4 players. I can name an entire starting XI of promising players that Finland has in the same age group." 1) um, tore was in the europa league team of the season and is being linked with an 18 million euro switch to atletico madrid. and let's not forget the last big name turkish player they bought and where his career went. unal is a kid but he must be decent going to city. 2) then name them. "You're forgetting that my signs of improvement that I mentioned are very recent. Quite a while after that match." yet are finland going to qualify for any upcoming international tournament? ">palermo >rangers >a tiny country that has nobody else who is even close to good Good for him." lack of european trophies aside rangers are bigger than any club eremenko or moisander have ever played for. and are you also forgetting steven davis (soton), johnny evans (man united) and paddy mcnair (man united)? "Now realize that CSKA Moscow and Ajax are loads better than any of those three teams, and then realize that Eremenko is the best player of one and Moisander was the captain of another before his recent transfer to Sampdoria, who like Ajax could be challenging for a spot in the Champions League." 1) akinfeev, dzaegov, natkho and musa all highly disagree with your statement about eremenko being their best player. 2) i watch serie a and keep up with most clubs in there and sampdoria are not going to be challenging for anything next season.
