Hello, S&I forumers!
Today I'm here to suggest a basic update to the ROBLOX audio system: strings!
Basically with strings you can now "string" audio files together, which means you can make it so that one audio plays right after the other. You can only string audio files together that you're adding yourself. When you are adding a new audio file to the ROBLOX Library you can add multiple audio files to one ID, naming each individual one along with naming the whole audio set.
You also have the ability to decide how many seconds are between each audio file, from 0 to 3 seconds.
What is this good for?
- Making playlists.
- If you make an audio string with 0 seconds in between each audio file you can now add songs that exceed the 120 second limit instead of just cropping them.
OPTIONAL: Also, there should be a small discount if you string audio together and add it to one audio ID to encourage audio strings. I dunno maybe a 3% discount will be sufficient?

Hella support!
I wonder why ROBLOX didn't think of this first? It seems like something they would think of. Or maybe you're just making it seem like it was their idea all along.

I support this just so I don't have to listen to HALF a song anymore ;-;
I double support for playlists c: |

reading this makes me extremely mad because this suggestion is so simple it could've been added a long time ago and it's an incredible idea.

Scriptable.
Take a song divide it into segments upload separate sound files then play the sound files on after another in game through scripting. |
|
|
That doesn't fix the issue for:
- Non-admins
- Audio adders
- Popular game players
- ... Or anyone but people who add BGM music in their own place.
The only problem this solves is to give you a half-assed reason to not support. |

You must be very lazy, if you can't simply open another tab.

For God's sake people, read the OP. |

You must have an IQ of -10 if you don't know how to make a playlist on youtube or open another tab.

You must be a special kind of stupid if you don't know why he suggested this and why people are supporting in the first place:
"If you make an audio string with 0 seconds in between each audio file you can now add songs that exceed the 120 second limit instead of just cropping them."
People don't want workarounds! And you can't music share in ROBLOX without it being in the ROBLOX Library. Mg... |

It isn't for the developers and music adders, it's for the players who music share in-game by taking music IDs from the Library.
There is no workaround for that. |

Support, alright!
Now, we can make music with an intro loop better with another audio file that is used for the loop. Awesome! |
