Imo, do not use in-game building kits. Studio can do everything and more and is far better for developing. You're gonna have to start somewhere I'm afraid, every skilled builder now started off making crappy models. With enough practise one day you'll be able to recreate what you actually wanted but until then you'll just have to make peace with your abilities. Find a project that you're passionate and enthused about and go for it. It doesn't have to be some master game just something you think you'd like to build or create. By working on it that's how you'll get better. Best of luck -Crypt

Always choose something you actually want to do. For instance, don't decide to make a replica of your house because it seems like 'a good place to start' find something you're passionate about that you'll actually find interesting to make.

Honestly, just take a picture of something, and start building it from a single brick. Do your best to build what you see and get all the design right.

My primary is full of very kind developers that I'm sure would enjoy teaching people how to build.
