Quitting this place on the 9th

Honestly this place has become boring and less enjoyable as the days have gone on and I think the SF is one of the three reasons why my summer is pretty boring. I've been on this forum since early 2012 (made a post or two in 2011 but it really doesn't count) and I've seen the types of people on this forum change over time. Today, on August 1st of 2015, this forum has a select group of people with lower immaturity and unfortunately it's becoming the majority of the forum. It's very rare you can get a great period of sports and non-sports discussion and all here, and that only happens at night once every two weeks or so. On August 10th, I start two-a-day football practice, and since I'm going to start driving school and go out and drive a lot more to be with friends and my parents and all, and since I have like three AP courses this year (not just one like last year) I'm going to be extremely busy and I'm going to try to change my lifestyle to get off this game. I'm addicted. There's no other way to put it. I've gotta change. It's really unfortunate since at this time two years from now I'm going to be packing my bags and going off to university. I'm getting too old for the people on this forum and on this website in general. Unfortunately I have attempted to quit countless times and it has not worked but there's always a first time for everything. I'm not going to write big paragraphs thanking people but some people I'd really like to thank so much for my time here and that are still here (or quitting today) are Tgross, Rune, Jimbo, Extemmas, Zammy, Death, Alejandro, Chriz, Yonnd, Tato, Muffin, Bookface, Tiny, and XG. Chances are there are a select few others that I did not mention and you know who you are. You know if we were cool with each other or we were the two ingredients in the pot that couldn't mix together. I'll bump this back up on quitting day, after tonight.

@xhfb Honestly even though I plan to major and get a degree in Architecture I intend to take some meteorology course when I'm in college :)

damn, you were one of the few people i could actually picture myself hanging out with irl. enjoy football and high school dude. just remember that claudio pizza rolls was a legend for the both of us! :-)

@moldy Even though I never truly liked you, you're a cool dude with some great traits on you. Don't let the haters get to you. They've gotten to me quite a bit when I was around your age. Have an awesome junior year, Sir. It honestly is not so bad, you will just have to really devote yourself and buy into the picture that it will work out in the end. My advice to you is to take the SAT & ACT atleast once before the fall of your senior year, and to get a college planner to help you with your essays next summer. By the way you will have free time during Junior year. I often came here at night after studying or during a 5-10min break to just see what is going on with the sports world.
