1.) I wish to join the DLCFD because I would like to serve the people of Deer Lodge county and help them in anyway I can.

5.) A truck is a aparatus used on structure fire calls and sometimes medical calls to assist the ambulance depending on your departments operations and what trucks are staffed.
6.) An engine is a aparatus that responds to struture fires, medical calls, mva's and civil service calls. An engines main job on a fire ground is to find a water supply if its the first company due.
7.) A rescue is a truck that can be used for any call (Fires, Medical calls, Mva's, Water rescue, Heigts rescue, Etc...
8.) A brush truck is a truck specifically made for brush/grass fires and is capable of going off terrain unlike most other fire department apartus's.

6. A engine is a firetruck that carries basic tools from and axe to the JAWS OF LIFE. Also, ALL engines have at least 200ft of attack line and at least a monitor and pump with a GPM of 1000-1200(depending on the tank size). Engines respond to car accidents, fires, and sometimes medical calls.
7. A rescue carries more tools than an engine, but lacks hose line, a pump, and monitor. Rescues respond to car accidents most of the time and depending on the situation house fires.
8. A brush is a firetruck that responds to brush fires or any wild land fires.
9. My dad's a firefighter so he is pretty much passing all of his knowledge on to me. Also, I am nice and will not be mean to others and I am going to be a junior firefighter in 3 weeks from now.

1. Why do you wish to join DLCFD?- I want to join DLCFD because I want to become one of the best. I want to protect others. I want to make sure no one gets hurt. I want people to be safe.
2. How would you benefit the department? I would benefit the department by putting in as much time and effort as I possibly can towards DLCFD. I would be available for shifts most days.

8. What is a Brush? This is a truck primarily used for forest fires. it can easily navigate the rough terrain up in the forests.
