of course, it's quite the hassle to find anything you even remotely searched for when searching for clothes in the catalog. a rather simple way to fix this?? a tag system.
let me go into further detail:
right below the description, there should be a "tag" box. you can enter up to 5 tags, so that you won't just completely spam it. this way, you won't see a black bikini when you searched for a yellow hoodie. even if you put tags that aren't relevant to the item, it wouldn't matter since you can only have 5 tags. honestly, you don't need much more than 5 tags for your clothes. you HONESTLY don't need 100+ tags to describe your outfit, a measly 5 is simple and can prevent from a massive clutter of irrelevant tags used by people who want to advertise their clothing. if you actually wanted some attention to your clothes, then you should do it the proper way and pay for an ad. otherwise, the consumers shouldn't have to suffer in such a large clutter because you can't pay a few tix/robux.
now, i should also add that the description will NOT count when searching for items. this way, people won't just put their tags there instead of in the tag box. only the TITLE and the TAG BOX will count when you are searching for these items (and other things such as the sales, of course, but that's different)
let me also suggest that there should be a smaller word limit in the description box. no one needs to see your 50+ paragraph essay on whatever it is you desperately need to express in a shirt. if you honestly need to do that, make a thread!!!! the limit should be somewhere around 100, (i'm not exactly sure, somewhere around that) since you don't need much besides a simple 1 sentence description.
if i left any important details out, i'll be glad to know!!! |

Unless had to look through 50 pages a goes just to find something even RELEVANT to what I searched. People just put as many tags as possible that make no sense.. |

@people above
You aren't an ODer if you wear clothes. How long have you been on the internet?
I support this idea. I don't even use the catalog to find clothes anymore, I have to find stuff in my favorite designers' inventories. |

ok but even if this wouldn't be useful to you, don't you think it would be a helpful fix towards the system ??? |

i forgot to add this could also apply to models, decals, audio, plugins, and other user-made items (i would need to think about whether this should also apply to places) |
