@OP The real issue with this is that, that is a currency. Where as # is both Number sign and as weird people like to use it for hashtag.
Your symbol only has one use that most people wouldn't use it for.

If you want to shorten pound for cash just use #.

Yes, the £ sign could be used to filterpass, but can't the $ do that also?
Besides, I beleive that most currency symbols should be implimented if not already, it just allows for that country to talk about their countries money easier. |

If "$" is allowed on the game, then "£" and any other symbol of currency should also be allowed. |
