The ROBLOX inventory hasn't had many major changes in its lifetime, and it really does need updating, due to items being hard to find for players whos inventories are rather large.
Some new features could include 'Favourite items'.
This would be a new tab which stores all your favourite items, these will be items that you own and are in your 'My Favourites' tab of your profile, this kind of sounds bizzare and you may think 'They can just use the already made favourites tab.' However, this allows people to quickly find items without having to go from page to page.
Also, this will give reasoning to why you should favourite cosmetic items.
On top of this new feature a search bar, which has been requested many times (and also made into a Chrome extension), should be introduced.
Somewhat similar to how the 'Favourite items' system works, this will sit at the top of the page, above the categories and allow you to search your entire backpack.
Despite this being nearly the same as the 'Favourite items' tab, it would allow to access things that you know you own and no longer want or don't really wear but would like to for a certain occasion.
An optional feature to add would be a cleaner, much more user friendly interface, with larger buttons and drop-down lists instead of seperate pages.
Doing this would make the inventory so much more functional as you don't have to continuously go from page to page, and would allow the removal of the 'Next' and 'Previous' buttons, as all items would drop down in perhaps a 4x# list, until all items of that category are displayed.
Please let me know what you think, what could be different about my suggestions, if you support it or not, and if you don't please say why.

Yeah. With the new-ish all-in-one search bar, they could add a new category to that main search bar, which would be inventory.
I'm not sure what you mean but 4x# list, though.

I think that'd be good, but make it a scroll bar, rather than the system they use for Game Instances (Loads of 'see more' pages.)

Yes, that's what I thought.
If you look to the right of the tabs on the concept image you'll see I added a scroll bar which will extend when tabs are opened. |

Support! I really like the idea about the Favorites Tab. I always have to go to my profile to view my favorite items, and this new feature would eliminate the need to jump from page to page. The scroll bar would also be much better than clicking "next..next..next.." and so forth. The dropdown menu would also be cleaner than what we currently have. |
