Our LOT Polish Airlines was founded just about a year ago, early August. We began as a small airline operating out of Lublin, where major lag was nowhere near a problem, as we didn't need a lot of seats.
Back then, we had gained about 100 members for every week or two, so aircraft capacities wasn't a concern. But now, LOT has over 5k members, and sooner or later, server capacities will be increased, forcing us to let more passengers in to flights to avoid angry passengers demanding "refunds".
In order to service more passengers, some details such as extreme CSG featured in the new 787 will have to, sadly, be dropped. Also, our new class system meant for the new seats in the 787 will be dropped as well.
Now you may be wondering, what next? Well, I'll tell you what next. Seats and airports that are less laggy, but still keep a somewhat charming appearance. We'll be adopting a more "blocky" style, featured in airlines such as "FlyDoha" and the historical "RoAir". [Please don't take this in the wrong way, I'm not trying to copy them.] The only reason why I'm doing this is so people can enjoy our flights without disconnecting and freezing every time a lag spike hits.
I hope you guys are looking forward to the new LOT, and keep in mind, we are not de-grading our service in any way, shape, or form. |
